Battery for Acer Aspire 8930G, ... AS07B32, item number: 941039 was purchased for the Acer Aspire 8942G to replace the aged original AS07B32 battery (output voltage: 14.8 Volt, capacity: 4800 mAh / 71 Wh / 8 cells from SANYO), which has been in use for 15 years and has a 60% degree of wear.
The battery from Cellonic was delivered to DPD in 3 days. Original packaging made of attractively designed coloured cardboard. The protective film packaging has been opened by someone, perhaps the battery has already been returned. The first wish was to return the battery. But it was strange to check it and compare it with the original.
The weight of the original AS07B32 battery is 410 gr., the weight of the battery from Cellonic is 405 gr.
The measurement of the voltage at the contacts of the Cellonic battery with a multimeter was 0 volts! Whereas the charged original battery has 16.05 V. It appeared that the battery received from Subtel was completely discharged and could not be charged. However, after installing it in the notebook and connecting it to the mains, the battery charged immediately. The voltage was recorded using the programmes HWiNFO64 and aida64. It was possible to fix around 12 V at the start of charging. Charging to 100% took approx. 45 minutes, the capacity was 33,000Wh at 15.0 V. The first discharge took only 45 minutes.
After restarting the computer, the Cellonic battery was identified as AS07B72 from SIMPLO with nominal capacity: 65120 mWh and fully charged capacity: 65120 mWh, degree of wear: 0.0%.
The second charge cycle to 100% took about 1.5 hours and the voltage reached 16.7 V. The battery discharge lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes.
The third charging cycle to 100% also took approx. 1.5 hours and the voltage was approx. 16.73 V.
After charging, the dismantled battery had a temperature of approx. 34-35°C and the measured voltage was 16.45 V.
