It was important to me that the adapter (CELLONIC, model 300001) could not be connected to a USB port, but instead via a 230V cable. Furthermore, I wanted a universal, microprocessor-controlled charger supplied by the manufacturer with various charging cradles for different camera types, so that the voltage is automatically adjusted to suit the type of battery inserted. Compared to the – in my view, overpriced – original Sony charging adapter, this one also features an LCD display. This means you can quickly check a battery’s charge level without having to insert it into the camera just for that.
The build quality, design and finish of this device are absolutely top-notch, and the dispatch and delivery were equally excellent. Given the excellent value for money, I ordered two straight away.
